15. Install pads. As noted earlier, the front pads have shims. I made sure they were on the same side/direction as when they came out. Also apply anti-squeal at the back of the pad. They do have a somewhat inferior version of 4C, and the GTs are overly torque-limited.

Motor and transmission were super strong and sure I could’ve gotten it past 300k no problem. 98 v70 t5 - 203k miles when engine went. My only Volvo that gave me constant issues but still never left me stranded. 07 v50 - 232k miles when transmission started to go and had too many other little issues.
