The radio shouldnt even be getting power, the only thing that should have any power is the clock. The amp or any thing else in the unit should not be receiving any power after the car is off. I wonder if pulling the fuse to the radio will reset the radio if nothing else it will no longer pop and crackle and scare you till a resolution is found. there is a known issue with DAB signal being interrupted by interference from some 12v charger plug in adapters. My wife’s VW Sharan has hard wired dashcams front and rear and no issues with DAB, but if we plug a phone charger in the DAB signal drops in and out and make it impossible to listen to.
